Mid-Senior Level Windows Systems Engineer

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience and certifications
     

  • Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and server hardware
     

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support or systems administration environment
     

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn and take ownership of tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance: Assist in the configuration, installation, maintenance, and support of Windows Servers and related server hardware and software
     

  • Cloud Computing: Provide support for our AWS systems
     

  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and logs, respond to alerts, and perform basic-to-intermediate level troubleshooting for server and application issues
     

  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
     

  • Support: Collaborate with the help desk and other IT teams to resolve escalated user issues related to the server infrastructure

Compensation

  • $70,000 - $90,000 per year plus benefits
